About Jozi Institute
Dance & performing arts training in Johannesburg
The Jozi Institute of Dance & Performance is a tertiary education institution offering the full-time Certificate in Performing Arts & Creative Industry Foundations at Fairlands Walk Centre (cnr Beyers Naudé & Wilson Street, Northcliff, Johannesburg). The programme combines daily technique classes, theory, rehearsals and creative workshops, Monday to Friday.
Programmes are for school leavers and emerging artists who want to build a career as a performer, dance educator, choreographer, studio owner, arts administrator or creative entrepreneur.
Alongside studio training, students create and stage their own productions and take modules in branding, marketing, portfolio development and professional practice, so they leave ready to pursue opportunities in the performing arts industry.
